I lift you high in praise, my God, O my King! And I'll bless your name into eternity. I'll bless you every day, and keep it up from now to eternity. God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness. Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; Each one tells stories of your mighty acts. Your beauty and splendor have everyone talking; I compose songs on your wonders. Your marvelous doings are headline news; I could write a book full of the details of your greatness.
Psalm 145:1-6 (The Message) I am excited to be able to tell you that Aldersgate will be continuing our regular Sunday morning schedule through the summer! That means that we will be about the work of transforming lives and serving Christ with joy not just 10 out of the 12 months, but also all year! It also means that we can continue to welcome visitors in our best Aldersgate manner. Yes, it will require more of us, but God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough! We will offer our praise in word, song, and deed every day. I want to say a special thanks to all who are helping and will help to make this possible. The Aldersgate Contemporary Worship Team will continue to lead worship at the 9:30 AM service. They are looking for people with musical gifts to help fill in for team members who are on vacation. If you are interested in helping, contact David Roza or Chitie Edgett. In addition, the choir will continue their leadership role during the 11:00 AM service. Those who are in town will gather before worship to practice. Contact David Rogenmoser for more information. We will also continue with the tradition of having special music during the summer. Contact Doug Unell if you'd like to share your musical gift. Christian education will also continue. A one-room Sunday school will be held during the first service and a special Jr. Church program during the second. If you can help out on one or two Sundays during July or August, please contact Jane Guitson. An adult Sunday school class will meet during the first service. This is a huge step forward as we strive to be the church God is calling us to be! Plan to be at church every Sunday you are in town and serve with joy where you can! In Christ's love and service,
