Faith Factor is the Christian youth ministry at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. It is designed for youth at the junior and senior high school age.

Our Mission

To lead youth to a firm commitment to, and a deep relationship with Jesis Christ, and to show them how faith in his redemptive power transforms our lives, and the lives of those around us, by the power of the Holy Spirit working in us.

Our Objectives

(1) "... so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power." (1Cor. 2:5)

Discussions and activities are designed to lead youth away from a secular world view, towards a Christian one.

(2) "... faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)

Discussions and activities are biblically based. Scripture is regularly read and discussed.

(3) "Everything is possible for those who believe." (Mark 9:23)

Discussions and activities are presented to show faith in God enables us to overcome any obstacle.

(4) "... faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:17)

The love of God for us manifests itself in our faith in Him. Our faith, rooted in His love, should spill over into the world. Works of service and mission are provided to help youth learn how to put their faith into action.
